She is more reachable now compare in Leo’s point of view. ![]() Reading Stargirl personal thoughts is something different. I love Stargirl character so much from the first book which is the main reason why I didn’t give up reading this book inspite of a slow beginning. In fact, it becomes my in-between read for a week, grabbing it once in awhile for killing time. As I said before with my other reviews, diary format books are not personally appealing to me which makes Love, Stargirl doesn’t count as of my one sitting read. But when I started reading the book and found out it’s in a diary format my expectations suddenly drop. I enjoy the first book, Stargirl, so I’m eager to read the sequel, Love Stargirl. In Love, Stargirl, we hear the voice of Stargirl herself as she reflects on time, life, Leo, and – of course – love. In her writing, Stargirl mixes memories of her bittersweet time in Mica, Arizona, with involvements with new people in her life. The novel takes the form of “the world’s longest letter,” in diary form, going from date to date through a little more than a year’s time. ![]() ![]() LOVE, STARGIRL picks up a year after Stargirl ends and reveals the new life of the beloved character who moved away so suddenly at the end of Stargirl. ![]() |
